Sales Policy

-We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If we feel that a bunny may not be the right fit for your needs, we will not proceed with the sale. 

- To prioritize the health and safety of our rabbits, our rabbitry is not open to the public. Our bunnies are raised in our home and on our property, and we have implemented this policy for biosecurity reasons. All of our viewings and meet ups will be held at our local Petsmart unless other arrangements have been agreed upon by both parties.

-We do not sell bunnies younger than 8 weeks old. In addition to being illegal in the state of California, it is crucial for their health and development that they stay with their mother for at least 8 weeks to grow and properly wean. Therefore, we will not respond to inquiries about bunnies younger than 8 weeks, regardless of experience. 

In most cases, our rabbits don't go home until 10 weeks old.

-Our goal is to produce rabbits that conform to their specific breeds' ARBA standard of perfection. However, we cannot guarantee how any rabbit will perform in front of a judge, especially pre-juniors. This primarily applies to our Holland Lops as our Lionheads are not recognized as showable varieties.

-Most of our rabbits are eligible for a pedigree, which outlines their detailed lineage. If you require a pedigree for your rabbit (e.g., if you are showing or breeding) please notify us and we can arrange this. Pedigrees are generally included in the price and can be provided either as a printed document or sent electronically. Pet rabbits do not go home with a pedigree. 

-We offer a 48-hour health guarantee for all of our rabbits, which begins at the time of pick-up. Our rabbits are in good health when sold, and I will conduct a basic health check prior to departure. Should your bunny exhibit signs of serious illness or pass away within 48 hours, and if sufficient proof is provided, we will offer a full refund or replacement with another rabbit of equal value.

Please note that factors beyond my control can affect a rabbit's health once it leaves my care. Therefore, the health guarantee does not cover heat stroke or issues resulting from owner negligence. During pick-up, we will thoroughly review your rabbit's health together, examining the ears, eyes, nose, and genitalia to confirm its overall condition and sex.

I am not responsible for any veterinary care once the sale is complete. If the rabbit is being transported by a third party, a video will be provided showing the rabbit's current condition, including sex verification. Please understand that I cannot guarantee the health of a rabbit once it has been in transport for more than 24 hours.

-A deposit is required to reserve a bunny. Without a deposit, the bunny remains available for others—no exceptions! Deposits are non-refundable, so please ensure that the bunny you select is the one you truly want before committing. Once a deposit is made, there will be no switches, exchanges, or refunds.

The deposit amount is 50% of the total cost of the bunny and can be paid via Venmo or Zelle. If you decide to cancel the sale after the deposit has been made, the deposit will not be refunded.

In the unfortunate event that the bunny becomes ill or passes away while in my care, the deposit will be refunded, or you may choose another available bunny, in which case the deposit will transfer to the new bunny.

Please note, this is the only situation in which a deposit will be refunded. Therefore, I encourage you to consult with all household members before submitting your deposit.

-At this time, I do not offer transport services. If you wish to purchase a bunny, you must either pick it up in our city, Antioch, California, or arrange your own transport. Pick-up will be scheduled when your bunny turns 10 weeks old, unless alternative arrangements are agreed upon by both parties.

The remaining 50% of the total cost is due at the time of pick-up. No bunny will leave the rabbitry without full payment.

Please be punctual for your scheduled pick-up or notify me of any delays in advance. If there is no communication on pick-up day, the bunny will be made available for sale again, and any payments made will not be refunded.

No exceptions.

-If you are located outside of a reasonable driving distance but would still like to purchase a bunny from us, transport may be an option. Transporters are third-party services that arrange routes to pick up and deliver animals via ground transportation. Please note that transporters have their own policies and pricing, which are separate from ours. You will be responsible for reviewing and covering these costs. Based on our experience, the typical transport cost for a single rabbit ranges from $75 to $150 USD, in addition to the rabbit's upfront cost.

We are happy to assist you in finding and coordinating with transporters, especially if they can meet in any of our neighboring cities.

As a reminder, full payment for the rabbit is required before it leaves the rabbitry. Once the rabbit is in the care of the transporter, we are no longer liable for said rabbit when on route for over 24 hours. Additionally, we are not liable for any incidents that occur during the transport process

-I offer a maximum of 7 days for holding a bunny after it turns 10 weeks old. After this 7-day period, a boarding fee of $10 per additional week will be charged for any extended stay. This fee applies whether the delay is 1 day or the full 7 days.

The boarding fee is in addition to the upfront cost of the bunny and must be paid before the new arranged pick-up date. Please note, the boarding fee covers the cost of feed, care, cage space, and basic husbandry during the extended stay.

-We offer a first right of refusal policy for all bunnies we place. If, for any reason, you are no longer able to care for the bunny you acquired from us—whether due to allergies, moving, or any other circumstance—I will always accept the bunny back.

It is important to me that none of my bunnies end up in shelters or the wrong hands. Together, we can work to rehome the bunny, or I can welcome them back into my program.
